Subway Is Opening a Pop-Up Restaurant Dedicated to This Beloved Menu Item

Subway is taking its commitment to its beloved menu item to the next level. The sandwich chain is opening a pop-up restaurant dedicated to its most popular item: the Meatball Marinara. The restaurant, called the Meatballery, will be open for a limited time in New York City.

The Meatballery will feature a variety of dishes made with Subway’s signature meatballs. Customers can choose from classic dishes like meatball subs and meatball parmigiana, as well as more creative options like meatball tacos and meatball sliders. The restaurant will also offer a selection of sides, including garlic bread and macaroni and cheese.

The Meatballery is the latest in a series of pop-up restaurants that Subway has opened in recent years. The chain has also opened restaurants dedicated to its Italian B.M.T. sandwich and its Chicken Teriyaki sandwich. The Meatballery is the first of its kind, however, and is sure to be a hit with Subway fans.

If you’re in the New York City area, be sure to check out the Meatballery. It’s sure to be a delicious experience!

In celebration of National Cookie Day on Dec. 4, Subway will be opening up an exclusive cookie shop called Cookieway in New York City. This shop is solely dedicated to their most popular dessert item, offering nine different cookie flavors for hungry NYC holiday shoppers to choose from.

Located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at 91 Allen Street, Cookieway features scrumptious flavors like Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Raspberry Cheesecake, White Chip Macadamia Nut, Caramel Apple, Double Chocolate, S’mores, Caramel Brownie, and M&M. Some of the flavors are exclusive to Cookieway and are only offered to hungry Subway-goers outside of the United States.

The pop-up shop will open on Thursday, Dec. 2, just a mere two days before National Cookie Day arrives. Hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 3, as well as 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Dec. 5.

“Subway is launching Cookieway as a special thank you to our fans, who overwhelm us with love for our cookies and have helped make Subway cookies the co-star of our menu, alongside our subs,” says Carrie Walsh, chief marketing officer at Subway, in their recent press release.

Subway will be handing out complimentary six-packs of cookies at their NYC Cookieway pop-up, with an optional donation to Make-A-Wish® Metro New York, while supplies last. Customers can also purchase exclusive Cookieway merchandise and enjoy the larger-than-life cookie installments at the shop.

“National Cookie Day is the perfect holiday to celebrate our iconic cookies and creates an opportunity to support the great work of Make-A-Wish by encouraging Cookieway visitors to make a donation when they receive their delicious cookie sample pack,” says Walsh.

While Cookieway’s doors are only open for a brief period of time, the cookie fun doesn’t have to stop there. If you are a major fan of this popular Subway menu item, you can still get it delivered to your door for free—and at a major discount. Get 10% off your purchase of Subway cookies when you order on the Subway app for any orders you place for the rest of 2021.
