This National Pizza Chain May Not Be Able to Take Your Order Due to Omicron

It looks like one of the nation’s most popular pizza chains may not be able to take your order due to a new virus called Omicron. Omicron is a virus that has been spreading rapidly throughout the United States, and it has caused many restaurants to close their doors. This includes the popular pizza chain, which has been forced to temporarily close its doors due to the virus.

Omicron is a virus that is spread through contact with an infected person. It is highly contagious and can cause severe respiratory illness. Symptoms of Omicron include fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. It is important to note that Omicron is not the same as the coronavirus, and it is not related to the pandemic.

The pizza chain has been forced to close its doors due to the virus, and it is unclear when they will be able to reopen. This means that customers will not be able to order their favorite pizza from the chain for the foreseeable future. This is a major blow to the chain, as it was one of the most popular pizza chains in the country.

The good news is that there are still plenty of other pizza options available. Customers can still order from other pizza chains, or they can make their own pizza at home. There are also many delivery services that can bring pizza to your door. So, while the national pizza chain may not be able to take your order due to Omicron, there are still plenty of other options available.

It is important to remember that Omicron is a serious virus, and it is important to take the necessary precautions to protect yourself and others. Be sure to wash your hands often, practice social distancing, and wear a face covering when out in public. By taking these steps, you can help to protect yourself and others from the virus.

Major national restaurant chains continue to struggle with operational issues caused by a surge in Omicron cases. McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski recently said some of the burger giant’s locations are still operating at reduced store hours, while Starbucks warned customers that store closures and missing ingredients will persist in the coming weeks.

Papa Johns now joins the ranks of chains in disarray due to the new COVID-19 strain. The pizza company issued its own warning to customers last week, saying they may experience disruptions at their local restaurants.

In the letter that went out to PapaRewards members, Papa Johns CEO Rob Lynch thanked the loyalty program members for their patience during “this unprecedented time,” and faulted staffing shortages for current disruptions in service.

“Like all sectors of the economy, we are experiencing temporary staffing challenges, which in limited cases may impact our ability to deliver or take orders,” the message read. “Since we hold ourselves to the highest customer service standards, we have reached out proactively to our loyal PapaRewards members, conveying our gratitude for their patience.”

Besides the limited cases where the chain may not be able to deliver your order or fulfill it at all, Lynch noted reduced business hours and temporary restaurant closures are also possible.

However, the letter noted several steps the company is taking in order to “ensure a quality experience for you.” They include regular cleaning of each restaurant, increasing drive-up and pickup options as an alternative to potentially limited delivery, and keeping its website and mobile app updated with new restaurant hours, wait times, and ordering options. Moreover, the company is calling all pizza lovers to apply for a job at Papa Johns.
