Starbucks has issued a voluntary recall of more than 250,000 cases of its popular Frappuccino chilled coffee drink due to a potential health risk. The recall affects the 13.7-ounce bottles of the drink, which were sold in the United States and Canada.

The recall was issued after the company received reports of mold in some bottles. The mold was found in the bottles’ spout, which could lead to potential health risks if consumed. Starbucks has urged customers to discard any bottles of the drink they may have purchased.

The recalled bottles were sold in the following flavors: Mocha, Vanilla, Coffee, Caramel, and Java Chip. The bottles have a “best by” date of August 2021 and a UPC code of 0 76211 18964 0. Customers who have purchased the recalled bottles can return them to Starbucks for a full refund.

This isn’t the first time Starbucks has had to recall a product. In 2018, the company recalled its bottled Iced Coffee due to a potential choking hazard. In 2019, Starbucks recalled its bottled Frappuccino drinks due to a potential health risk.

If you’re looking for a healthier alternative to Starbucks’ Frappuccino, try making your own smoothie at home. You can use fresh or frozen fruit, yogurt, and milk to make a delicious and nutritious smoothie. You can also add protein powder or nut butter for an extra boost of nutrition.

Starbucks’ recall is a reminder to always check the labels of any food or drink you purchase. If you have any questions or concerns about a product, contact the manufacturer or your local health department.

Those who like to stock up on Starbucks’ products at the grocery store might currently have some harmful beverages at home.

According to the website Food Safety News, PepsiCo Inc., the maker of Starbucks’ ready-to-drink coffee products, is recalling more than 250,000 cases of Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso beverages from nationwide retailers. The safety of the drinks may have been compromised due to inadequate sealing which could lead to premature spoilage, the website states.
