The recalled mushrooms were distributed to the Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles areas for sale in retail stores by January 4, 2022. The affected lot number is 300511, while the UPC numbers are 6953150100684 and 6953150110157.

There is no English translation on the label and no business names and addresses printed on the label.

Luckily, no reported illnesses have been associated with the recall, but the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suggests you throw affected products away immediately due to the dangers of listeria infection.

“Listeriosis is a serious infection usually caused by eating food contaminated with the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes,” the Centers for Disease Control states. “An estimated 1,600 people get listeriosis each year, and about 260 die. The infection is most likely to sicken pregnant women and their newborns, adults aged 65 or older, and people with weakened immune systems.

The distribution of the product has been suspended, according to the FDA.
