The Wisconsin Big Cheese Pub Burger is here again, after missing from menus since 2017. And this time, the burger will be paired with a Culver’s Root Beer Float or Root Beer Shake for a new signature combination.

The floats feature a scoop of creamy vanilla frozen custard on top of the chain’s very own old-fashioned flavored Signature Root Beer. The soda has been a staple since it was introduced to the menu in 1984, although this will be the first time it can be ordered as a float. The Root Beer Shake will put a further twist on the float by blending the two ingredients into a creamy shake.
Those looking to try the Wisconsin Big Cheese Pub Burger should act quickly, as it will only be available for a limited time through August 7. However, Culver’s says the Root Beer Floats and Root Beer Shakes will continue to be available on the permanent menu beyond that date.
Culver’s was recently named America’s favorite burger destination among fast-casual chains. Data collected by tech and marketing company Merchant Centric showed that the fast-food brand scored highest among America’s burger chains in terms of customer satisfaction in 2021. With only 882 locations, Culver’s averaged an impressive score of 4.34 out of 5, which was considerably higher than Five Guys (4.21), Fuddruckers (4.19), and Smashburger (3.77).
