Instagram user @Costcodeals said they loved this apple pie back in November of 2020, and they are not alone. This bakery item is one that seemingly comes and goes. Instagram account @costco_doesitagain spotted it back in June, so it could make its debut again soon.
Last year, this 4-pound pie sold for $12.99, which is more than enough to make the season bright. However, if this is a dessert after a big meal, it’s best to enjoy it in moderation. A single slice of the pie comes out to more than 400 calories and has only a few grams of protein and very little fiber.
December is a month to remember in more ways than one, and this Costco bakery item coming back could be another. Instagram account @CostcoDeals made Costco members drool over the Cinnamon Butter Pound Coffeecake early in December last year, and as we inch closer to the holiday season, it’s about time pumpkin spice stepped aside.
Cinnamon is one of the most iconic flavors in holiday baking, and what could be better than eating a slice of this masterpiece with your hot cocoa? At only $6.99 last year, this cake was a steal. Again, this is a treat best reserved for special occasions. According to MyFitnessPal, a slice of this cake has 400 calories and only 4 grams of protein.

Of course, if sweets aren’t your thing, you may want to try the Kirkland brand cheese flight, recommended last December by @Costco.Love. While not technically part of the bakery section, we don’t think anyone will be upset at you for bringing cheese to a holiday party (and if they do, do you really want to be there?).
You can use the flight for charcuterie and cheese boards, or give yourself a holiday treat and eat it on its own. While you’re at it, you might want to see if Costco restocked its “riot-worthy” Parmigiano-Reggiano.
The Costco bakery section’s halls were decked with the Kirkland Peppermint Bark in early December last year, as per @Costobuys. The made-with-real-Belgian chocolate-and-peppermint treat sold for $9.99 then, and some eagle-eyed members have already seen it for the same price in warehouses now. Instagram accounts @CostcoSisters and @costco.love both posted about it recently—nearly a month before it debuted in 2020.
The serving size is about 1 ½ ounce, and there are about 14 in each box for the same price as last holiday season.
