Just Released: Almost Identical Value Meals from Burger King and Wendy’s

It’s no secret that fast food restaurants are always competing to offer the best value meals. Now, Burger King and Wendy’s have just released almost identical value meals that are sure to have customers debating which one to choose.

Burger King’s new value meal includes a Whopper sandwich, small fries, and a small drink for just $5. Wendy’s value meal is also a Whopper sandwich, small fries, and a small drink, but for just $4.99.

So which one should you choose? Well, it really depends on what you’re looking for. Burger King’s Whopper sandwich is larger than Wendy’s, so if you’re looking for a bigger meal, then Burger King is the way to go. However, if you’re looking for a cheaper option, then Wendy’s is the better choice.

No matter which one you choose, you can’t go wrong with either of these value meals. Both Burger King and Wendy’s offer delicious food at an affordable price, so you can’t go wrong either way.

So if you’re looking for a great value meal, then you should definitely check out Burger King and Wendy’s new almost identical value meals. You won’t be disappointed!

Burger adversaries Wendy’s and Burger King are going neck to neck with virtually identical new deals. Both fast-food chains have just released $5 value meals, likely in the hopes of winning over each other’s customers. Although the two releases are incredibly similar in their offering, there are a few small differences that may spell out whose meal deal is the better bargain.

Burger King responded to the return of Wendy’s popular $5 Biggie Bag by releasing an almost identical $5 Your Way Value Meal around the same time. However, if you want to know who did it first, it was Wendy’s, debuting its $5 deal in 2019. Burger King didn’t launch its own version until December of 2021.

Burger King’s $5 Your Way Value Meal features a Double Whopper Jr., 4-piece nuggets ($1.59), small fries ($2.49), and a small drink ($2.29). While the Double Whopper Jr. isn’t sold separately at most locations, a Whopper Jr. runs about $2.69. In total, with a Whopper Jr. price, this would come to about $9.06 plus the cost of the extra patty.

On the other hand, Wendy’s $5 Biggie Bag allows customers to now choose between three different sandwich options: the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, Double Stack, or classic Crispy Chicken BLT. If you were to buy a Double Stack ($3.09), 4-piece chicken nuggets ($2.19), small fry ($2.19), and small drink ($2.19) separately, the meal would cost $9.66 before tax. The price would be slightly less for the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger or Crispy Chicken BLT.

All in all, both meals save you about the same amount of change and offer about the same amount of food. However, it should be noted that through April 24, customers at Wendy’s will get three times the Bonus Rewards points on Biggie Bag purchases made through the mobile app. The rewards program allows customers to redeem points for free food, making the Biggie Bag even more enticing for those looking to save.

Wendy’s $5 Biggie Bag also includes several different burger options, which, when paired with a slightly better discount with the inclusion of the rewards program, makes Wendy’s the winner of this neck-to-neck battle. Since Burger King was dethroned by Wendy’s as the bigger fast-food chain, it seems competition to reclaim the title has not been lost on BK.
