Back by popular demand, the beloved Frosted Grape Pop-Tarts are returning to store shelves where fans can get a taste of yummy nostalgia. The pantry staple is available for purchase at Walmart for about $3.19 per 8-count box.
Even better news: grapePop-Tarts will be added to Kellogg’s permanent production lineup– meaning that this flavor is here to stay! News of the flavor’s rerelease broke in April 2022, and in a news release, Heidi Ray, Senior Director of Marketing, Portable Wholesome Snacks noted how the fans have spoken, and that “Frosted Grape has been among the top flavors fans have been asking us to bring back.” Ray added that “We could not be more stoked to finally bring back this Pop-Tarts G.O.A.T. – Grape-ist Of All Time.”
Since its 1967 debut, grape Pop-Tarts have become one of the most beloved toaster pastries flavors around. While the grape Pop-Tarts reign was short-lived after its limited 2014 release (being completely discontinued in 2017), fans should be thrilled to know that the grape Pop-Tarts are available nationwide.

Known by some as “mac & cheese,” and by others as “kraft dinner.” Bottom line: we all remember sitting down for a satisfying bowl of cheesy pasta as kids. Now, your favorite boxed macaroni and cheese has taken the form of a savory ice cream dessert.
First launched last summer, through the Brooklyn-based creamery Van Leeuwen, the divisive yet delicious cheese & ice cream pairing was an instant hit, selling out within one hour of release on the Van Leeuwen website. Since then, demand for Kraft Mac & Cheese Ice Cream has grown. As described by Reddit user Ill-Athlete-4963, the taste is “sweet, creamy, high quality vanilla ice cream mixed with an aggressive amount of Kraft cheese powder,” which has captured the attention and tastebuds of many.
Kraft Mac & Cheese Ice Cream is available at Walmart stores across all 50 states, on a 10-week rotation, which could mean that the rollout is for a limited time only. Luckily, Van Leeuwen offers other unique flavors like Pizza, Hot Honey, and Bourbon Cherries Jubilee.
After 10 years, Oreo Cakesters are returning to the grocery shelves! Oreo’s Instagram account announced the revival of the snack cakes late last year, much to the delight of fans that have missed biting into the snack cake.
Likened to a whoopie pie, the Cakesters were soft Oreo cakes with a vanilla creme filling that garnered a positive reception during its original 5-year run. Instagram user @hughes_c19 commented on an Oreo post, sharing that “My childhood has been revived. Tried them yesterday for the first time since 1st grade and was blown away.”
While Oreo Cakesters are returning to the U.S., they don’t seem to have a large presence outside of the states yet, as Instagram fans ask when the snack will be available in Canada and internationally. But in addition to the Oreo flavor, Nabisco is also releasing Nutter Butter Cakesters as part of its 2022 rollout.
In the world of hard candies, Creme Savers was hard to beat (especially its strawberry flavor). After a decade off store shelves, these little candies made a comeback last year and are available for purchase at Big Lots stores nationwide.
Launched in 1996 by Nabisco, this Lifesavers spinoff was discontinued in 2011, according to the Candy Wiki site. Creme Savers also comes in a number of other flavors like Chocolate & Caramel, Pina Colada, and Vanilla & Creme- along with sugar-free varieties. Perfect for fans and grandparents alike!
