Walmart and Kroger Are Recalling This Popular Food Item — Eat This Not That

Walmart and Kroger have recently announced a recall of a popular food item due to potential contamination. The product in question is a brand of frozen chicken nuggets, which have been sold in both stores. Customers who have purchased the product are urged to return it to the store for a full refund.

The recall was issued after the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) found that the product may be contaminated with pieces of plastic. The product in question is the Great Value brand of frozen chicken nuggets, which were sold in both Walmart and Kroger stores. The product was sold in a 20-ounce bag with a “best if used by” date of April 26, 2021.

The FSIS is urging customers to not consume the product and to return it to the store for a full refund. Customers who have purchased the product should also check their freezers for any remaining packages. If any are found, they should be thrown away or returned to the store for a refund.

This recall is a reminder to always check the labels of food products before purchasing them. It is also important to follow food safety guidelines when preparing and storing food. If you have any questions or concerns about food safety, contact your local health department.

If you have purchased the recalled product, you can return it to the store for a full refund. You can also contact the company directly at 1-800-925-6278 for more information.
