Introduction

Costco is one of the largest retailers in the world, and they are always looking for ways to make their customers’ shopping experience even better. Recently, they announced that they are adding a new perk to over 200 of their warehouses: free samples of healthy food. This is great news for those who are trying to make healthier choices when it comes to their diet. With this new perk, customers can sample healthy food options before they buy them, making it easier to make the right choice. In this article, we will discuss the details of this new perk and how it can help customers make healthier choices.

Costco Is Adding This Perk to 200+ Warehouses, CFO Says

Costco is adding a new perk to its warehouses: free food samples. According to the company’s CFO, Richard Galanti, the warehouse giant is rolling out the program to more than 200 locations across the United States.

The samples will be available in the deli section of the store and will include items such as cheese, crackers, and other snacks. Customers will be able to sample the food before they buy it, allowing them to make an informed decision about their purchase.

Galanti said that the samples are part of Costco’s effort to provide customers with a better shopping experience. He also noted that the samples will help the company to better understand customer preferences and tastes.

The samples will be available on a rotating basis, so customers will be able to try different items each time they visit the store. Galanti said that the samples will be offered in a safe and sanitary manner, and that the company will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of its customers.

So if you’re looking for a new way to try out different foods, head to your local Costco and take advantage of the free samples. Who knows, you might just find your new favorite snack!

This year may still be in food swing, but Costco is already looking ahead to 2022. In a recent earnings call with investors, Costco Chief Financial Officer Richard Galanti outlined several goals for the new year, including opening more than 20 new locations and upgrading the chain’s mobile app.

If you shop at a Costco location with white pickup lockers for online orders, you have access to a perk that isn’t available at every single warehouse. The lockers are currently available at 112 locations, but the goal is to bring them to more than 220 stores by next year.

“We’re rolling out e-commerce lockers,” Galanti said. “Currently in the U.S., we have 112 locations with more — and we plan to more than double that number during calendar year 2022.”

In addition to the lockers, Galanti said new e-commerce kiosks would help get purchases in the hands of members. While he didn’t dive into too many specifics, we do know that the kiosks will have two special features. Costco’s pickup lockers have touch screens for selecting digital orders. Similarly, Galanti said the new kiosks would be equipped with “easy touch screen ordering.” They’ll likely allow members to order items for pickup inside warehouses.

Galanti said the kiosks would also feature “video signage.” He didn’t reveal what would be displayed on the signage, but there are plenty of goods and services that Costco offers in addition to its beloved baked goods and bulk grocery items. It probably isn’t too much of a stretch to guess that these signs may advertise Costco’s insurance policies, travel packages, tire centers, and more.
